Camilo Nuñez Guthmann (Argentina)
Camilo Nuñez Guthmann (camiidae) is a musician, visual artist, and biology student who creates musical soundscapes inspired by nature and the human experience. Using analog and virtual instruments, synthesizers, nature ambiences, animal recordings, and more, they create stories and atmospheres that follow nature’s rhythm and spontaneity.
Cami's work stems from a place of love, fascination, contemplation, wandering and, in a way, hope. Their projects resonate with people from different places and cultures not only because of the music, but also because of the universal feeling of admiration towards nature and the human experience that shine through it. Their work has inspired others into learning more about art, animals, and nature preservation.
Cami is currently pursuing a biology degree at Universidad Nacional del Comahue. Their interest in science and more specifically ecology comes from their fascination towards patterns and the interconnection between different things that make up something greater.
