Feedback and Exhibition Form / London 2018 (DEADLINE 24.02.2018)
We are delighted to tell you we will be exhibiting our project La Wayaka Current in London, UK this summer.
We will be exhibiting at Guest Projects - an exciting space run by Yinka Shonibare that promotes collective and experimental group projects between July 21 - August 9, 2018
We will be curating an exhibition in relation to our project that will including sculpture, installation, film, events, live performance, screenings, invited speakers and workshops etc. The exhibition will be inspired from the time we have spent in all three contrasting locations - Tropic 8 ° N, Arctic 78 ° N and Desert 23 ° S.
We are giving the opportunity for all past La Wayaka Current, artists-in-residence to apply with works that could be featured in the exhibition.

Application Deadline -
With this application you must email a maximum of three images via wetransfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. The images can be work itself, photographs / documentation of work or preliminary sketches of planned work, performance or installation. For film and sound please send a sample. Please paste the wetransfer link under the proposal section on the form below.
All work must clearly be relevant to your time spent with us at La Wayaka Current as well as relating to the socio, cultural, political or environmental concerns of our project in some way.
Terms and Conditions
This is not obligatory and it is optional for all artists to choose if they want to apply or not for the exhibition.
Filling out this application does not assure that your work will be exhibited. We are curating a large body of work into an exhibition with a limited budget / space and time. We may contact you with regards to altering or adapting works when curating them into the space.
Please carefully consider the budget needed to produce and / or exhibit your proposed work in the space.
Make sure to fill out every part of the application.
As you know, we are a non profit, self-sustaining project. The venue is confirmed however we currently have no government or institutional support for funding beyond that - ie. production costs and / or shipping of works, travel costs for artists to be present.
Artists will be responsible for finding their own funding to cover the costs of producing and shipping their own work. We can provide letters of invitation to support artists who wish to apply for funding.
